If you have an emergency or dental problem and you feel that you need to be seen by your dentist please:

• During normal opening hours please contact the practice as soon as possible and every attempt will be made to see you that day.
• Outside normal opening hours please:
  • In the first instance, all patients should phone the practice on 01489 564203, and follow the instructions on the answer phone. (these are summarised below)
  • If you can wait until the next working day please leave your name and contact details and we will call you back when the practice re-opens.
  • However, if you feel that you require help or advice sooner, please call the emergency number as detailed on the answer machine and you should call them immediately.

  For your information this number is 08450508345, and this service is open weekday evenings from 5.30 – 9.30 for advice only. At weekends and Bank Holidays, from 8.00am – 9.30 pm for advice and, if necessary, and appropriate referral to an emergency dentist.~

  Please note that the appointments for the emergency dentist are only between 0900 and 1600).

• In addition to the above Denplan registered patients may phone the Denplan helpline on 0800844999 and they will find a dentist for you to attend.
• You will be asked to pay that dentist for any emergency treatment you receive, but, on completion of a claims form, will be able to reclaim this amount from Denplan. This emergency cover is available to you whether you are at home, or on holiday anywhere in the UK or abroad.
