I have worked at Whiteley Dental Practice for 10 years. After leaving college at 18, I trained and qualified as a riding instructor. After having my three children, I decided to train as a Dental Nurse. I qualified in 1999. I then furthered my professional qualifications as an Oral Health Educator and qualified in 2002.I have two clinical sessions a week as well as nursing with Jenny Capewell and helping on the reception desk.

I have also started the Whiteley Dental Diamonds Netball Team through the kind sponsorship of Ian Capewell. We Currently play in the Fareham and Gosport League.

If you were marooned on a desert island, what luxury item would you take with you, and who would you like to be marooned with? Why?
Sun cream for anti-aging. Elvis Presley in his younger years – so he can take my hand as somethings are meant to be!

On a long haul flight, who would you like to sit next to from any period in history?
David Attenborough because he’s had such a fascinating life.

What is you least favourite vegetable and why?
Celery – texture and flavour!

If you could be any fictional character who would you choose and why?
Samantha Stephens from Bewitched for her magical powers – think what I could do…

What is your favourite film?
Brave Heart – I love men in kilts, what more can I say?

What do you have an irrational fear of?
Spiders – too many legs!

What did you buy with your first pay cheque?
Petrol for my moped

If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
To be invisible so that I could play pranks on people!

If you didn’t work here, what would your ideal job be?
Wildlife presenter as I am fascinated by all the amazing life on earth.
