Children

Here at Whiteley Dental Practice we are very happy to see children free on the NHS up to the age of 18 or if in full time education up to 19. The ethos of our practice is to introduce our patients to preventive dental care and to show them how to look after your teeth and gums so that they can enjoy dental health for life.

Therefore children are welcome at the practice from an early age, so that they can learn good oral hygiene habits, to keep them free from dental disease in an attempt to make needles, drills, fillings and extraction’s a thing of the past. The sooner we can start this process the better.

In addition we will monitor their developing teeth and jaws at their routine appointments so that problems can be identified early and be corrected.

Please bring your children to the practice, it’s never too early to get them used to the sights, smells and sounds of a dental practice as this can help to avoid nervousness in the future
