Since qualifying from Guy's hospital in 2000, I continued to work in the maxillofacial department developing surgical skills leading to a membership of the Royal college of surgeons in 2002. After I left the hospital I took up various general practice posts in the south east and qualified to the membership of general dental practitioners with the Royal colleges. In 2004 I took a year out and studied at the College of Law in Guildford to acquire a post graduate diploma in law. However shortly afterwards I was invited to buy into the Richmond House dental practice in Chichester as a partner and I settled into a family life style of practice. More recently I have undertaken tutoring and teaching at King's college and Portsmouth university in both a practical hands-on and academic sense. I continue to promote the interests of dentists on the political stage with the British Dental Association and various dental committees with chairman roles in NHS Pensions and a membership of the general dental practitioners group. Socially I live locally with my wife and children while enjoying being a distinctly average golfer, sailor and mountain biker
