I gained my National Certificate qualification in 2007. I have also got a additional qualification in dental sedation nursing. I have worked in many different settings including Orthodontics and Maxfax at York hospital and Implant surgery. I spend my spare time with my husband and two daughters. I love to cook and explore new places.

Find out more about Liz…

If you were marooned on a desert island, what luxury item would you take with you, and who would you like to be marooned with? Why?
I’d be marooned with my husband as he’d know how to survive! I have zero survival skills and I’d take a fluffy blanket because I’m always cold, even on a desert island!

On a long haul flight, who would you like to sit next to from any period in history?
Morgan Freeman because his voice would send me to sleep! I don’t like flying.

What is you least favourite vegetable and why?
Artichokes, they have a funny texture.

If you could be any fictional character who would you choose and why?
Wonder woman, because she can do anything.

What is your favourite film?
Forest Gump, it’s a classic and feel good film.

What do you have an irrational fear of?
Any creepy crawlies/bugs.

What did you buy with your first pay cheque?
I went shopping with my friends and got a new outfit, bag and shoes and we all went out for the night.

If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
I’d fly, so I could go anywhere quickly and not have to drive.

If you didn’t work here, what would your ideal job be?
I’d be a professional travel / restaurant reviewer so I could get paid to go on holiday and eat out!

What is your favourite song?
My favourites change all the time but since I was little I’ve always loved ‘Always the last to know’ by Del Amitri.
