Jenny Capewell

I graduated from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in 1995, and after practicing for a short while in Hedge End followed my husband to Whiteley Dental Practice. I have taken three short maternity breaks over the last few years, and now combine a hectic home life with my busy clinical sessions at the practice.

To ensure I keep up to date with all aspects of dentistry, I regularly attend various post graduate meetings.

If you were marooned on a desert island, what luxury item would you take with you, and who would you like to be marooned with? Why?
Soap – to wash myself and my clothes. Ray Mears as there should be no problem with food and shelter and if he didn’t come up with the former there is plenty of him to keep me going!!

On a long haul flight, who would you like to sit next to from any period in history?
Martin Johnson as I love rugby and would like to hear his stories. One of the question I would ask would be why was he stupid enough to take on the England head coach job.

What is you least favourite vegetable and why?
Fennel as do not like the aniseed flavour.

If you could be any fictional character who would you choose and why?
Hermionie Grainger as I would love to be able to do magic.

What is your favourite film?
Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid as both of them were handsome chaps and I like coyboys!!!

What do you have an irrational fear of?
Spiders and snakes

What did you buy with your first pay cheque?
A proper mothers day present for my Mum.

If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
I would like to be able to talk to animals and I could then find out what my dogs, especially my boxer bitch, are thinking…

If you didn’t work here, what would your ideal job be?
Farmer/estate manager. I would like to be self sufficient and this would be the next best thing.

What is your favourite song?
