I am the ‘Welsh One’ – I have been in dentistry since leaving school. I qualified as a dental nurse in 1990 before going on to qualify as an Oral Health Educator in 1991. After having my 2 children, I qualified as a Dental Hygienist with the Tutor’s Prize at The Eastman Dental Hospital in 2003.
I regularly undertake Post Graduate training to keep up to date with new regulations and procedures

If you were marooned on a desert island, what luxury item would you take with you, and who would you like to be marooned with? Why?
A blanket because I am always freezing. David Gandy – something to look at all day long!
On a long haul flight, who would you like to sit next to from any period in history?
Stephen Fry as I think he’s an intelligent, interesting and funny man.
What is you least favourite vegetable and why?
Broad beans as have dreadful texture and taste.
If you could be any fictional character who would you choose and why?
Tinkerbell so I could fly around shaking magic dust on people to bring them happiness.
What is your favourite film?
Nanny McPhee. Loved watching it with my children when they were little.
What do you have an irrational fear of?
Mice – don’t like them scurrying around!
What did you buy with your first pay cheque?
Flowers for my mum
If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
To read minds so that I would know what people are thinking.
If you didn’t work here, what would your ideal job be?
Already have my ideal job so it would have to be a lady of leisure.
What is your favourite song?
Human League ” Don’t you want me” – the first record I ever bought.
