Sophie Jackson

I started dental nursing in 2019 after working as cabin crew for a couple of years prior to this. During the pandemic, I volunteered at the Urgent Dental Care hub for Buckinghamshire providing dental care for patients with suspected and confirmed cases of Covid 19. I have an interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and will be working both in surgery and on reception at Whiteley Dental Practice.

If you were marooned on a desert island, what luxury item would you take with you, and who would you like to be marooned with and why?
Dry shampoo, I can’t go anywhere without it! I’d like to be marooned with my best friend so we could have a holiday too!

On a long-haul flight, who would you like to sit next to from any period in history?
Elton John, I’d love to hear more about the early parts of his life and career, I also love his music.

What is your least favourite vegetable and why?
Brussel sprouts as they are completely tasteless!

If you could be any fictional character who would you choose and why?
Barbie because I’d want to live in the Barbie dreamhouse!

What is your favourite film?
Harry Potter, my favourite one has to be The Goblet of Fire.

What do you have an irrational fear of?
Snakes, I’m terrified of them!

What did you buy with your first pay cheque?
luxury meal for my partner and myself.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
Invisibility as I’d enjoy being a fly on the wall in certain situations!

If you didn’t work here, what would your ideal job be?
A restaurant critic, anything that involves nice food and lots of cocktails!
